Suicide
“Life is a gift from God, and He loves everyone and is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9
You may think no one loves you, but God does!
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Suicide is interference with the plan of God for one’s life. Although the word suicide is never used in the Bible, there are several direct references to people killing themselves, and by definition, that is suicide.
“The devil made me do it” is the actual cause of suicide. He is the instigator of every evil thought and deed. He knows God has condemned him to the lake of fire to be tormented day and night forever and ever. Therefore, he is trying to cause as many souls as possible to rebel against God so that they will suffer for eternity with him. He caused the first man born in the world to murder the second one, his brother.
Satan knows there is No chance after death to get right with God. The devil causes wars and murders, and people might be robbed of their right to live and have an opportunity to receive God’s salvation. Suicide is the “Murder” of one’s self. To commit suicide is to “jump from the frying pan into the fire.” A literal fire with flames.’
The soul that goes to hell will never again see a ray of sunlight. By making a joke about it, Satan makes people think there is no hell. All of his false religions deny a literal hell or that it is permanent. Jesus talked more about hell than heaven, and he cannot lie; he is the truth.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I am sorry I ever thought to destroy the precious gift of life You have given me and the opportunity of spending eternity with You. Forgive me, Father. I renounce all connection with this thought of suicide. Jesus comes into my life and lets the power of Your name flow through my soul. Free me from the deception of Satan, which has a hold on my life. I invite You into my heart to cleanse me with your precious blood. Thank You, Father, for your tremendous love and mercy. Help me to walk close to You this day and forevermore. AMEN.
