When we pray and ask God to take care of things and then try fixing them ourselves, we limit Him. When we “cry over spilled milk” and dwell on things that happened in the past, we limit God from working for our highest good in the present. God is not limited unless we limit Him. God puts no limits on faith. Faith sets no limits on God. God can create something out of what seems like nothing.

God will only work with what we give Him. Give Him all the hurts, rejection, failure, and humiliation so that He can turn them around.
Take your emotions, ambitions, thoughts, and dreams to Him in prayer today, submit them to Him, and He will begin to work them together for your good.

Looking at the great men and women of faith, it is evident that there came a time of great humbling in each of their lives. Either from a struggle without or from loss within. But out of that humbling process came the seeking after God, bringing them into new and more incredible places of ministry and influence.

Don’t stop communicating, either with people or with God. Don’t cut yourself off by isolating yourself. Loneliness and isolation will only pervert you’re thinking. Keep your balance by continuing to interact normally while undergoing a crisis.
Many people find that when they talk to the Lord in the midst of a crisis, they are so tense, they find it difficult to hear from Him. Others have simply never learned to hear from God at all, and stress only makes it worse. If you need to talk, go to your pastor or a godly counselor who is trustworthy and full of the truth of God’s Word. If you don’t screen those you speak with, and you tell them everything that’s in your heart, your “comforters,” like those of Job, may seem sympathetic, but often their advice will be based on their own personal perspective or prejudice, not God’s truth.

Faith is believing something you cannot see will happen. Fear is believing something you cannot see will happen. Confidence attracts the positive. Fear attracts the negative.
Give God the negatives. Don’t dwell on them. Take care of them privately. When you want to complain about someone, injustice, or trauma that apparently was caused by a person, take that up with the Lord out in the desert or on a mountaintop. Don’t take your murmurings to another person or live with them inside you. Confess sins, your own and those that others have committed against you, and ask to be cleansed from them. Admit what your conscience convicts you about; don’t cover it up.
