I May forgive, but I’ll Never forget

I May forgive, but I’ll Never forget

Have you ever heard anyone say, “I may forgive, but I’ll never forget?” That’s a second-rate kind of forgiveness that you, as a believer, are never supposed to settle for. You’re to forgive supernaturally “even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”

Once you’ve forgiven a person, you need to consider him permanently forgiven. When old feelings rise within you and Satan tries to convince you that you haven’t really forgiven, resist him. Say, “No, I’ve already forgiven that person by faith. I refuse to dwell on those old feelings.”

Pray this prayer:

Father, I forgive all the people that have sinned against me and that have offended me. I ask that you forgive me in every way that I have held them in unforgiveness. I receive Your forgiveness and I release them to You in Jesus’ Name AMEN.

Speak Lord

Speak Lord

The day after the battle is more important than the eve.

If Satan cannot overcome a person by temptation, he’ll try accusation or intimidation.

The fivefold temptations during a crisis are depression, despair, resignation, failure, and inferiority.

The essential art of communication is the ability to hear.

God brings us to a place of obedience before He speaks.

God’s power is released in life to the degree of obedience.

Emotions follow actions.

To change your emotions, change your actions.

A crisis is only a means of exchange.

Love is the desire to benefit others even at the expense of self because love desires to give.

God never stops working for your good.

The Lord’s Helping Hand Provides all of His Creation.

Do not compare our own measly understanding to that of God’s! God created us and everything. Who are we to say that we know this or that to be true? All that we know is because the Lord allows us to know it. Thanks be to God.

Sanctification

Sanctification means turning away from evil and moving toward the things of God with all your heart. It is not a one-time event. Moreover, it is an ongoing process, we have to choose Christ.

Guidelines for Hearing the Voice of God

  • Bind the voice of the enemy. When you pray, Satan will try to interfere. So, before you start to pray, bind his voice. Do this in the name of Jesus. Then trust the Holy Spirit. He will lead you and guide you into ALL truth. (Matt. 16:19; John 14:26; 15:26,27; 16:13-15; Jas. 4:7,8; 1 Pet. 5:8,9.)
  • Submit your own will and reasoning to the Holy Spirit. Your own will and reasoning often get in the way of what the Spirit of the Lord wants to share with you or communicate to you. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. (Ps. 119:104,125; Prov. 3:5; 16:3; 1 Cor. 2.14-16; Jas. 4:7,8.)
  • Turn off your own problems. This isn’t always easy, but it is necessary to have proper communication. Concentrating on your own problems forms a “static” that can interfere and bring confusion, causing a mixture of interpretations. (PSs. 37:5; 42:5; 43:5; Prov.3:5; 14:30; Isa. 26:3; Phil. 2:4; 4:6,7; 1 Pet. 5:7.)
  • Give your undivided attention to God’s Word. Focus your mind on what He is saying; hearing is passive, while listening is active. This will require mental effort and attention. Satan will fight you on this because the more revelation of God’s Word you have, the more threat you will be to the kingdom of darkness. (Ps. 37:7; Prov.4:4.20,23; 1 Cor. 2:10-12; 2 Cor. 10:5.)

How to Pray for Results

How to Pray for Results

  • Begin your prayer with what you know are the obvious facts. Pray the Word and the precious promises of the Word given to you as His child.
  • Always let the Holy Spirit be in charge. Remember, you are just a soldier in the Army of God. Jesus is your “Commander in Chief.” Let the Holy Spirit set the facet or the burden. Do not rely on your own insight.
  • Pray and sing with understanding in your native tongue; also pray and sing in the Spirit.
  • Pray in faith, expecting divine intervention. Pray in confidence.
  • Take time to listen. It is an essential part of communication and one of the keys to successful mediation.
  • Keep praying until the answer comes. Before moving on, wait until the Holy Spirit assures you that the task is accomplished.
  • Flexibility and speed of response are often critical to victory. The only obedience that impresses God is instant obedience. Delayed obedience is disobedience!
  • Meditate on the Word—renew your mind. Make sure all sin is under the blood of Jesus and that you are not harboring unforgiveness in your heart.

The Key to Spiritual Warfare

The Key to spiritual warfare

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12) not recognize the enemy. The Key to victory in both biological and spiritual warfare is to clearly identify the enemy and to understand his character and methods.
